KARACHI (Dunya News) - Police and Rangers during joint operations in different areas of Karachi arrested 13 accused involved in various crimes including terrorism and recovered two bodies from different areas.
In Karachi, SIU police conducted an operation in Bilal Colony and arrested four terrorists of a nationalist party. According to SSP Haider Raza, the group of arrested terrorists includes more than 20 terrorists. Several cases were registered against the arrested terrorists in Sindh. The arrested terrorists include Gulzar Ali, Habibullah, Fayyaz and Ghulam Muhammad.
Meanwhile, during a joint operation of Rangers and police in Orangi Town, accused Aftab Alam involved in robbery and drug trafficking was arrested. The accused broke into a house in Orangi Town on January 15 and looted Rs 1 million.
According to a Rangers spokesman, the case was registered at Iqbal Market police station. Cash, arms and other stolen goods were recovered from the possession of the accused.
On the other hand an 80-year-old man died in a house fire near Kemari Masan Chowk. Tortured body of a man was found from Baldia Sparko Road while a bullet-riddled body of a man was found between Super Highway Jamali Bridge and Ayub Goth. The bodies were shifted to the hospital for postmortem.
On the other hand drowned body of a man was identified as 26-year-old Zafar Ali which was found in fishing Docks Sea.
