Karachi: One terror suspect killed, five others arrested during CTD operation
Four Kalashnikovs, four suicide jackets, 15 grenades, rickshaw loaded with explosives recovered
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed one terrorist and arrested five others during exchange of fire in a raid in Shah Latif Town.
According to details, last night the area of Shah Latif Town in Karachi resounded with the crackling of bullets, when the Counterterrorism Department (CTD) raided the area over reports regarding the presence of terrorists, the terrorists opened fire with modern weapons.
CTD also besieged the compound and retaliated by firing and one terrorist was killed while five others were arrested.
Four Kalashnikovs, four suicide jackets, 15 grenades and a rickshaw loaded with explosives were also recovered from the terrorists.
According to CTD officials, an investigation is underway to find out which group the terrorists belong to.
