Girl commits suicide after alleged gang rape in Tharparkar
THARPARKAR (Dunya News) - A girl has committed suicide by jumping into a well after she was allegedly gang raped in Mithi area of Tharparkar, Police have registered a case against two unidentified persons.
According to details, a case has been registered against the accused Adam Dil and two unidentified accused in the complaint of the girl s father Kheniro Mill for raping before she committed suicide.
Cheelhar police have arrested a key accused Adam Dil. SSP Tharparkar Sardar Hassan Niazi also reached the village of Diln to investigate the incident and offer condolences to the parents of the girl.
Talking to the heirs and media, he said that he was investigating the incident himself. He has registered a case on the complaint of the heirs and arrested one accused.
The girl s father Kheniro told the SSP that the accused Adam Dil forced his daughter to commit suicide by harassing her.
Girl’s father said that in the case of the rape of our daughter two years ago, the police did not conduct a proper investigation and the clothes were also changed in the DNA.
He said that after the trial, the accused threatened us, we petitioned the police three times and when the trial was about to start in the court, the accused Adam Dil took our daughter home at night. She was raped and then her body was found in a well.
He said that the accused has wronged us, now we demand justice. SSP Tharparkar Hassan Sardar Niazi assured that justice would be done to the affected family.
After conducting postmortem, DNA test of the arrested accused has been done. The accused will be severely punished, said SSP.
