Multan: 25302 cases of robbery, homicide and other crimes registered in 2019
Officers of the department expressed satisfaction with their performance
MULTAN (Dunya News) – More than 25,000 cases of theft, robbery, homicide, mugging, blind murders and other crimes were reported to Multan Police in 2019, which resulted in loss of lives and millions of rupees to the masses.
According to details 25,302 cases were registered including 12 cases of blind murders, nine homicides resulting owing to resistance during robbery, 148 of attempted murder and 31 cases of kidnapping, in 31 police station of Multan district.
Due to poor performance of police Rs28 million worth of 344 motorcycles and Rs37 million worth of 60 stolen cars were also reported. Despite all of it, officers of the department expressed satisfaction with their performance.
In addition, public has also lost million of rupees in cash, jewelry and other valuable items.
