Unidentified suspects shoot a lawyer dead in Sialkot.
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – A lawyer has been shot dead in Sialkot by unidentified suspects who managed to escape afterwards, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Sajjad Ahmad of the District Bar Association (DBA) Sialkot. The incident occurred on Paris Road – an area under the Kotwali police station.
Sajjad Ahmad was targeted near the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce by unknown persons – riding a motorbike – when he was going to kutchery from home.
Police and lawyers in large numbers reached the incident spot upon hearing the news. The officials collected evidences from the crime scene and launched investigation.
Sialkot DPO told that CCTV footages are being monitored to identify the suspects. On the other hand, the DBA has announced two-day strike following the murder of Sajjad Ahmad.
