Man arrested for robbing in-laws in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – A man was arrested on Friday for robbing his wife s family in Gujranwala.
Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) took action and detained the suspect while recovering Rs6,50,000 and 11-tola gold jewellery.
A few days back, a dacoity incident occurred in the house of Muhammad Mustafa who resides in Kangni Wala area of Sabzi Mandi police station.
More than Rs7,00,000 and 15-tola gold was stolen from the house.
A probe was initiated after registering a case against unidentified persons however; no traces of suspects were found as Mustafa’s son-in-law Naveed was himself assisting police.
When the case was forwarded to CIA, DSP Imran Abbas interrogated Naveed during which he confessed to his crime.
