MQM leader Sohail Mansoor robbed in Karachi

Armed suspects stopped Mansoor as he left a shopping centre near Bilawal House in his car.

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan s (MQM-P) former member of the National Assembly (MNA), Khawaja Sohail Mansoor, late Wednesday, was robbed at gunpoint near Teen Talwar monument located in Clifton, Karachi.

According to details, armed suspects stopped Mansoor as he left a shopping centre near Bilawal House in his car.

The suspects were on a bike and as soon as they blocked his way, he handed over his wallet and mobile phone, Sohail Mansoor told police.

However, the armed men not only mugged him but as they left, they also issued threats against him, Mansoor added.
