Man dies after in-laws thrashed him in Jehlum for attempting second marriage
Police lodged a case against 10 people and detained four people linked with the murder.
JEHLUM (92 News) – A man was killed after he was brutally thrashed by his in-laws for allegedly attempting to contract second marriage in Jehlum on Saturday.
As per details, Abubakar, 32, resident of Ghausia Colony in Mandi Bahaudin had gone for work in Jehlum’s Pindi Sayedpur where he was allegedly brutally tortured.
He was rushed to local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Pindi Sayedpur police lodged a case against 10 people and detained four people linked with the murder.
The arrested men include father of the girl namely Liaqat, uncle Asif and relatives Imtiaz and Altaf. They were produced before the local court.
The court handed them over to police on four-day physical remand.
Deceased Abubakar left behind two children aged three and five.
