Suspect in rape of 13-year-old boy arrested in Karachi
Sindh home minister took notice of the rape case after Dunya News report surfaced
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have arrested a suspect on Wednesday in rape case concerning 13-year-old boy in Karachi after a report surfaced on Dunya News earlier.
Sindh home minister took notice of the incident and summoned report from the DIG of South.
The incident took place in Kiamari Town area of the provincial capital. 13-year-old boy named Abdul Rehman was kidnapped while going to school and raped allegedly by a labourer named Aslam.

Aslam refuted the allegation while the police have sent to boy to Civil hospital for medical checkup. Police sources told that they will jump to the conclusion of this case after the medical report is completed.
Earlier, the area residents of town caught the suspect and physically assaulted him for the alleged act. Rangers arrived at the spot and rescued Aslam for inquiry.
Sources told Abdul Rehman was taken into protective custody by Rangers before handing him over to the police for medical inquiry.
