Multan: Female thief nabbed during burglary, six looted in other incident
The thieves stole two tola gold and cash from a closet.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – A female thief in Multan was nabbed by the locals while she tried to steal valuables from a house with her companion on Saturday.
As per details, two women entered a home in Multan’s town Muzaffarabad in beggars’ disguise. The thieves stole two tola gold and cash from a closet by deceiving the kids that were present in the house, and tried to escape.
The children stated shouting when they realized about the attempt which gathered the locals. The residents captured one burglar, however, the other succeeded to escape.
Police arrived at the incident place and arrested the woman after recovering the valuables from her. Search operations are being conducted to detain her companion as well.
On the other hand, people have alleged that police are not taking action against the beggars which are involved in criminal activities like these.
In another incident in Multan, some conmen looted six passengers after drugging them. The victims, belonging to Lahore and Mianwali, were left in unconscious conditions at a bus station afterwards. They have been shifted to Nishtar Hospital.
