Karachi: Two dacoits killed in police encounter
At least two dacoits were killed in exchange of fire with police in Karachis Gulistan-e-Johar area.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, police conducted a raid in Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi on Friday on a tip-off that a gang of dacoits was present in the area during which dacoits opened fire. Police returned the fire as a result two dacoits were killed.
SSP East informed media that the killed dacoits were involved in robbery at a restaurant. He further said that the accused were identified with the help of CCTV footage.
Police sources said that other members of the gang managed to escape from the scene. Sources further said that arms were also recovered from the dead dacoits.
