CTD lodges case over attack on national volunteers in Karachi
Terrorist organization Ansar-ul-Shariya has claimed the responsibility of the mishap.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A case under the sections of anti-terrorism has been lodged by Counter-Terrorism Department over recent attack on national volunteers near Northern Bypass in Karachi.
The investigation officers said that police personnel chased the terrorists, who were on two motorbikes, after the firing. They said 9mm and 30-bore pistols were used in the incident.
They also revealed that guard of police foundation and two officers were also killed by the same weapons on February 21 and May 20 apiece.
The personnel said that terrorist organization Ansar-ul-Shariya has claimed the responsibility of the mishap and has also threatened to hold more attacks.
