Karachi: Robbers assault woman, son before looting their house
They looted 33 tolas of gold, cash and valuables from the house after robbery
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A robbery took place in Buffer Zone area of the provincial capital where the criminals broke into a home and assaulted both mother and son.
The incident took place on Saturday in which the house was looted off gold, cash and other valuables. Mother and son were tortured before looting their home. Police were informed various times, however, no one reached the home as the officers were reluctant to pick up the phone on their helpline 15.
The robbers assaulted these people because they showed resistance. According to police sources, robbers escaped with 33 tolas of gold, mobile phones, cash and valuable things.
Within one month, the Karachi residents have lost 2,500 mobile phones, 2,000 motor bikes and 150 cars. Over 80 cases of house robberies were reported in which the people were devoid of gold and cash worth millions.
