100 abducted children still untraced by Lahore police

DIG investigation has made inspector in CIA as incharge of the team to trace the abducted children.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Security personnel have failed to trace as many as 100 children who were kidnapped in Lahore and have closed their files despite holding proper investigation.

According to a Daily Dunya report, 100 children have been kidnapped from different hospitals, parks, shopping centers and houses in seven years in Lahore. Among these, two important kidnapping cases of Baghbanpura and Jinnah Hospital are also included.

Sources told that police officers are not taking any step in this regard whereas families of the victims also get no response when they ask about the recovery of their children.

For the elimination of this surging issue, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) investigation has made inspector in CIA as incharge of the team and has directed to trace the abducted children.

He has also been ordered to review these cases from the start and also to ensure arrangements for its eradication.

It is to be mentioned here that earlier, this issue was being investigated by CRO branch.
