Bikers opened fire at retired colonel Tahir Zia Nagi near Baloch Colony Bridge in Karachi

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Unidentified bikers on Wednesday gunned down 65-year-old ex colonel in Pakistan army Tahir Zia Nagi near Baloch Colony Bridge. A passenger in a bus nearby and a passerby also got injured in firing, reported Dunya News.

The bikers opened fire at Colonel (r) Tahir Nagi when he had just arrived at his office. The retired colonel died on the spot. A bus was passing by and a passenger named Rehan was injured. Another passerby, named Momin Khan, also got injured in firing.

Rangers and police officials arrived at the scene immediately after being informed and collected evidence. The slain ex colonel used to run an institute in Hafeez Center of Baloch Colony where candidates were trained for ISSB test.

Police sent the evidence collected from the scene to forensic laboratory. Moreover, the CCTV cameras around the area are also being checked by the police. Sindh IG has demanded a report on the incident from West DIG. The incidents is being looked at from various angles, police told.
