Harassment on social media: FIA receives more than 500 complaints in two months
FIA sources said that about 17 cases have been lodged while 15 suspects have been arrested so far.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Cybercrime circle of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) received more than 500 applications in two months over harassment on social media.
According to details, an alarming rise has been seen in the incidents in which indecent movies and pictures of the females are being used to black mail them.
FIA sources said that about 17 cases have been lodged while 15 suspects have been arrested so far. The authorities said that small number of officers is also delaying action against the culprits.
Moreover, investigation has been launched to nab the suspects.
