Acquittal of criminals due to police's inefficiency, says SC

ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) – Supreme Court (SC) has said that the suspects involved in various heinous crimes get acquitted due to inefficiency of police.

According to details, a two-member bench headed by Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik heard a murder case.

Releasing the accused over surety bond of Rs2 lac, the bench said that lawyers are not magicians as criminals get bail due to police incompetence whereas and the judges are compelled to follow the law.

It is pertinent to mention here that suspect Farrukh Javed’s counsel told the court that police lodged baseless case against his client.

RPO Sargodha was also summoned in the court.
