Lahore police fail to arrest 451 proclaimed offenders
Several people lost their lives in various murder attempts occurred in City Division.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Security forces in Lahore have failed to nab as many as 451 proclaimed offenders involved in killing innocent people over old enmity.
Sources told that about 150 of them are wanted from past 10 years whereas many of the suspects have created difficulties for the witnesses by threatening them.
It was also learnt that several people lost their lives in various murder attempts occurred in City Division but no action was taken for the safety of the litigants.
According to documents obtained by Roznama Dunya, there are 122 murder proclaimed offenders in City Division, 84 in Allama Iqbal Town, 78 in Model Town, 77 in Sadar, 49 in Civil Lines and 41 in Cantt.
Police personnel have told that several absconders have also fled the country.
