PEMRA officials started action against shopkeepers selling illegal DTH showing Indian channels
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) officials took action against shopkeepers selling illegal DTH showing Indian channels during a raid at the electronic market. 3600 LNBs were taken into custody, reported Dunya News.
According to PEMRA Regional General Manager Ashfaq Jamani, 3600 LNBs were taken into custody by the authority, in cooperation with Customs official, during an operation in Saddar market. These LNBs were being used to show Indian channels with the help of DTH.
Electronics Market President Rizwan Irfan said that PEMRA and Customs officials were being given complete cooperation.
