28kg heroin recovered from PIA aircraft
The aircraft had arrived from Lahore on the evening of May 24.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan Customs has recovered 28 kilograms of heroin from a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) aircraft at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the heroin was hidden in the toilet compartments. Flight PK-305 was bound to leave for Europe.
Several airport workers and PIA crew members have been detained after the incident.
