Suspects flee as locals resist molestation bid in Karachi
Officers said that the case would be lodged after holding medical checkup of the victim.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Suspects fled the scene as local residents resisted molestation bid in Karachi’s Garden Usmanabad area today (Saturday).
According to details, as many as three suspects allegedly attempted to rape a 10-year-old girl and escaped from the scene as natives arrived.
The angry citizens set criminals’ bike ablaze and called on police for further probe.
According to security personnel, the suspects have been identified as Ashraf, Asad and Majid while an operation has also been launched to nab the culprits.

Rape and other forms of sexual assault and domestic violence are widespread in deeply in the country, but such public acts of desperation by abused women are rare.
