Trader's house attacked in Muzaffargarh over refusal to pay extortion money
Heavy contingent of police reached the spot after the incident.
MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – A trader s house in Muzaffargarh was attacked on Friday with a hand grenade.
According to details, unidentified men were giving threatening calls to Ashiq Hussain from the past few days and were demanding Rs50 lac as extortion money.
On Ashiq Hussain’s refusal, the men threw hand grenade at his house.
Heavy contingent of police reached the spot after the incident.
The trader said that the police was informed of the calls several times but no action has yet been taken against the assailants.
On the other hand, DPO Muzaffargarh Awais Ahmad Malik has stated that police while registering case has initiated probe of the incident.
No lifeloss was reported in the incident however; the house has got damages from the attack.
