LAHORE (Dunya News) – After a humiliating defeat at the hands of India in the T20 World Cup on Sunday, the Pakistan team management is considering to oust Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi in the last group match against Namibia, sources said on Monday.
They added that the team management was contemplating two to three changes for the match against Namibia after an overall poor performance against India.
There is serious consideration of giving bench strength players a chance in place of senior players, confided the sources.
Pakistan will play do-or-die match against Namibia on February 18 to qualify for the Super Eights stage. The team can also qualify if the match is washed out due to rain as it will get a point and move up the points table with five points to United States' 4. At present, the United States is at second place with a higher net run rate than Pakistan.
