BLAVAYO (Dunya News) - India set Pakistan a target of 253 runs to win the crucial Super Sixes match of the Under-19 World Cup.

In the match being played in Bulawayo, Pakistan Under-19 captain Farhan Yousaf won the toss and elected to field first against India.

Batting first, the Indian Under-19 team was bowled out for 252 runs in the final over. Vedant Trivedi was the top scorer for India with 68 runs, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 30 and Arun George made 16 runs. Indian captain Ayush Mahatre returned to the pavilion without scoring.

For Pakistan, Abdul Subhan claimed three wickets, Mohammad Siyam took two, while Ali Raza, Ahmed Hussain, Momin Qamar and Ali Hassan Baloch picked up one wicket each.

It is worth noting that to qualify for the Under-19 World Cup semi-finals, Pakistan will need to chase the target set by India within 33.3 overs. Australia, England and Afghanistan have already qualified for the semi-finals.

Speaking after the toss, Pakistan Under-19 captain Farhan Yousaf said the team would try to put up a strong performance. He added that the bowlers had bowled well in the previous match, one change had been made to the team, and the aim was to defeat India by a big margin.
