(Web Desk) – Pakistan captain Babar Azam has become the leading run scorer in the T20 Internationals.

The stylish Pakistan batter achieved this feat in his 113 innings in a world cup match against USA in Dallas. He is unbeaten on 30 taking his total T20I runs to 4,053.

The right-handed batsman has surpassed Indian batsman Virat Kohli’s record of most runs (4,038) in the shortest format of the game.

Before today's match, Babar Azam, the 29 years old batter, had 4,023 runs to his credit in the T20 format of the game and he needed just 16 runs to break Virat Kohli’s record.
