LAHORE (Web Desk) – On this day in 1983, legendary cricketer Javed Miandad and Mudassar Nazar showed splendid performance against India, stitching the highest partnership for any wicket for Pakistan in Tests.

The pair scored double tons against India in the fourth Test at Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad. They jointly added 451 runs for the third wicket - the highest partnership for any wicket for Pakistan in Tests.

Miandad had smashed unbeaten 280 off 460 balls while Nazar made 231 off 444 balls, helping their side to win the match by an innings and 119 runs. Miandad was named player of the match.
