Pathan, who remained a key pacer for India, was seen dancing on the ground after Afghanistan trounced Pakistan in the recent world cup match. The video of the dance went viral on social media, drawing mixed response.
Criticising the manner of celebration, some people commented that the gesture reflected typical Indian abhorrence of Pakistan.
In a programme, Abdur Razzaq also highlighted what he said an act of disrespect and vendetta.
Aamir said he promised that he would come up with a better dance performance if Pakistan beat India in the semi-final.
