Quinton de Kock becomes leading run-scorer of World Cup 2023
LUCKNOW (Web Desk) – South African opening batsman Quinton de Kock smashed back-to-back World Cup centuries as his 109 and Aiden Markram’s 56 helped South Africa to 311/7 at the end of their first innings against Australia in Lucknow on Thursday.
He also made a century in South Africa’s opening win over Sri Lanka. He became the leading run-scorer with 209 in two matches.

South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by over 100 runs in their first match.
The 30-year-old De Kock, who will retire from international cricket at the end of the tournament, reached his 19th ODI hundred off 90 balls with eight fours and five sixes.
