AHMEDABAD, India (Dunya News) – Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has placed his confidence in the bowling lineup of his side as the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 is all set to begin tomorrow (Oct 5) in India.
The World No.1 ODI batter expressed his views during the ICC Captains’ Day event, a traditional ceremony held prior to every world cup, in Ahmedabad where skippers of nine other sides had also gathered.
Responding to a question, Babar Azam banked on the performance of the bowlers, saying: “Our bowling is our strength”.
He ruled out any pressure on the team ahead of the world cup, saying the conditions in India were similar to Pakistan “but boundaries are a bit shorter here”.

Appreciating the people of India for warm reception, he said Pakistani players were excited to play match against India.
