Pakistan are scheduled to depart for Hyderabad in the wee hours of Wednesday
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Indian authorities have yet to issue visas to the Pakistan cricket team and management to participate in the upcoming ICC Men’s World Cup scheduled to begin on Oct 5.
Pakistan are scheduled to depart for Hyderabad in the wee hours of Wednesday. Babar Azam’s side will play their first warm-up match on Sept 29 against New Zealand and the second and last against Australia on Oct 3.
However, clouds of uncertainty overhang as India is attempting to politicise the mega event by showing such irresponsible attitude.
Sources said the India’s Ministry Home Affairs had not issued the NOC to its embassy in Pakistan for issuances of visas to cricket players and officials.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has conveyed its concerns to the International Cricket Council (ICC).
