Sources say four to five changes will be made to the team fielded in Asia Cup
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will name the squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 today (Thursday).
Sources said PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf had accorded approval to the squad as consultation process had been wrapped up.
The board is expected to make four to five changes to the squad which was fielded in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2023 tournament.
Earlier this week, PCB Technical Committee chairman Misbahul Haq said there shouldn’t be wholesale changes to the team for the upcoming world cup. He said such a move could disturb the team’s chemistry and serve a blow to the players’ morale.
