Sarfaraz becomes 20th Pakistani batter to reach 3,000 runs
GALLE (Web Desk) – Pakistan wicket-keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed on Monday reached a new milestone by becoming the first Pakistani wicket-keeper to amass 3,000 runs in Test cricket.
In the first Test match against Sri Lanka at Galle, Sarfaraz accomplished the feat by scoring 17 off 15 balls. After almost four years, he returned to Test cricket, and against England, he displayed absolute class.

Sarfaraz Ahmed's ability to aggressively attack his opponents, whether a fast bowler or a spinner is bowling against him, is one of his best qualities.
He became the 20th Pakistani batter to reach 3,000 runs after making his Test debut against Australia in Hobart in 2010.
