Najam Sethi hopes for Jayshankar will agree on a neutral venue
LAHORE (Dunya News) - PCB Management Committee chairman Najam Sethi says a trilateral series will be played in case of boycott of the Asia Cup.
Speaking to foreign media, Mr Sethi said they had begun preparations for a trilateral series. "It cannot be revealed at the moment whether England or any other specific team will be invited for the series or not," he said.
He said the decision about the venue for the Asia Cup would be taken by Pakistan as "we are the hosts". "We are waiting for my friend Jayshankar to say that they have no issue with the hybrid model."
Mr Sethi further said every possible effort was being made to end the deadlock over the Asia Cup.
