LAHORE (Web Desks) – Pakistan cricket team has started practicing to take up a new challenge as New Zealand squad is set to land in the South Asian country next week for T20I and ODI series.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shared a slew of photos to its Twitter handle, showing the Team Green participating in the drills to boost up their capacity as it eyes to win home series.

The social media post has amped up excitement of cricket lovers who are eagerly waiting to watch skipper Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi in action as they were rested for recent Afghanistan series. Here’s how cricket fans reacted on Twitter;

Earlier this week, in connection with the white-ball series against New Zealand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squads for the Twenty20 International (T20I) and One-Day International (ODI) series.

Senior players, who were rested during the series against Afghanistan in Sharjah are back now. These players included Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Shaheen, who continued to cause uproar in the cricketing world, is set to make his comeback after a period of four months. As per the PCB, Shaheen had missed five tests and three ODIs after sustaining a knee injury during the ICC T20 World Cup in November.
