Debutant Abrar takes seven wickets

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Debutant Abrar Ahmed has outclassed English batting lineup by taking seven wickets in the first session of the second Test match in Multan.

England have still scored more runs than they did on the first morning in Pindi, but it has been far less serene. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope made sweep-heavy half-centuries but there have been several failures, too.

Zak Crawley departed at 19, Ducket 63, Pope 60, Joe Root 8 and Harry Brook managed to add 9 runs in the team’s 180. Meanwhile, team England lost nine wickets soon after the lunch.

Earlier, England won the toss and opted to bat first. The visiting side is leading the series with 1-0.
