LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir on Wednesday turned down the central contract for the upcoming domestic season.

The former fast bowler of the national team Muhammad Amir has been placed in A category in the domestic central contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

After the announcement of the central contract by the PCB, Mohammad Aamir refused to accept the domestic central contract and said that the PCB has included him in the central contract in category A without informing him.

According to him, by offering the contract, the board wants to keep him under its authority. “By taking RS 185,000, I don’t want to face board’s restrictions,” he added.

The left-arm pacer said that he hasn’t made the decision to play the domestic season. He suggested that the board should offer the contract to a youngster instead of him.
