Pakistans right-handed batsman took 46% votes for his cover drive

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani skipper Babar Azam, who has always been highly regarded for his exceptional performances, defeated Virat Kohli, Ken Williamson and Joe Root in a poll conducted by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the current “King of Cover Drive”.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) had started a poll on its Twitter account to know the fan’s opinion that which player plays the most elegant, terrific and stylish cover drive.

According to the final results, Pakistan’s right-handed batsman took 46% votes for his cover drive followed by Indian skipper Virat Kohli who was close enough with 45.9%, while New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and Joe Root received 7.1% and 1.1% votes respectively.

As many as 260,143 Twitter users cast their votes. The contest between Babar and Kohli was tough till the last moment.

And Babar named the king of the cover drive for his so smooth and elegant and stylish execution of the cover drive shot.
