He said that he would himself approach the Pakistan Cricket Board

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir on Sunday said that he is ready to withdraw his retirement and make a comeback if Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis are removed from the office.

Speaking to a private television channel on Sunday, he said that he would himself approach the Pakistan Cricket Board and tell them that he is available if there is a new management in place.

“I don’t think that the issues with current management will be resolved now because mindset doesn’t change in a day." Amir was quoted as saying.

Amir had shocked the entire cricket fraternity when he opted to bid farewell to international cricket following his ouster from the Pakistani limited-overs squad for the New Zealand series last year.

The Left arm pacer had already retired from the longest format before he quit international cricket alleging ‘mental torture’ by the PCB.
