PCB clears Mohammad Sami in PSL spot-fixing case

The right-arm pacer was handed over a clean chit after anti-corruption tribunal heard his case

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Sami has been cleared of all allegations in spot-fixing case by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

PCB anti-corruption tribunal heard Samis case on Friday. He was summoned at the PCB headquarters in Lahore.

He appeared before the tribunal and was asked several questions regarding the case against him. After recording his statements, Sami was handed a clean chit and all charges against him were dropped.

PCB legal official Salman Nasir told that all necessary information from Sami was inquired and he will be summoned again in future if there is any need for it.

Both Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif have been suspended from all forms of cricket after their cases were heard. The cases relating to opening batsman Nasir Jamshed and Shahzaib Hasan will be heard in the coming days.
