PCB reschedules semis, final of National T20 Cup

Two semi-finals will be played on November 29 while final match will take place on November 30

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rescheduled the semi-finals and final match of National T20 Cup amid political tensions in the twin tensions due to protests.

After the belated agreement between federal government and Tehreek-e-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah and end of chaos in the capital city Islamabad, PCB decided to finally hold semis and final of National T20 Cup that were postponed.

First semi final between Lahore Region Whites and Faisalabad Region as well as second semi final between Lahore Region Blues and FATA Region will now take place on November 29. Two winning teams in the semi-final stage will be seen head-to-head on November 30. Rawalpindi will stay as the venue for these three matches.

The board had delayed these matches due to the unrest in Rawalpindi following security operation against the Faizabad sit-in. The final and semi final were initially scheduled on November 26 and November 27 respectively, in Rawalpindi where the whole tournament took place.
