LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has assured that all Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises will be required to include one local player in their squads from next year in a bid to promote the upcoming regional talent.

Talking to a press conference on Wednesday, Sethi announced that the board has formed audit committee chaired by Arif Aijaz. He hoped that the entire T20 cricket league may be arranged within Pakistan by 2010.

For the PSL matches in Pakistan, another draft and selection procedure will take place to decide which players are willing to visit the country, Sethi informed.

According to details, Pakistan will claim Rs 6 billion in damages through the dispute and resolution committee of International Cricket Council (ICC) during next month. However, both parties will not be able to challenge the court’s order.

Sethi claimed that India has also tried to avoid matches with Pakistan in ICC Test Championship.
