The star cricketer said the T10 cricket will be all about power hitting for 90 minutes

SHARJAH: (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has on Monday termed T10 cricket as ‘Boom Boom Cricket’, saying that it will be all about constant power hitting for 90 minutes, reported Dunya News.

Talking to T10 ceremony in Sharjah, Shahid Afridi said that the fans were not the only ones anxiously waiting for the format to be launched but even the stars wanted to watch three games a day and that too full of entertainment.

Afridi welcomed the idea of holding three Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Karachi the coming season. He said that cricket should be played in all cities of the country so that the message of peace could be sent out. He also praised the restoration of cricket, including the Zimbabwe and Sri Lankan teams tours to Pakistan.
