PCB to host ceremony to honor Misbah, Afridi and Younis
The decision has been taken by PCB Chairman Najam Sethi.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host a ceremony to honor former legends of the game Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan during the World XI’s tour of Pakistan.
Sources have revealed that this decision has been taken by PCB Chairman Najam Sethi to ensure the presence of international stars on the graceful occasion. Furthermore, all three former captains will be awarded with prizes in the event.
According to details, the cricket board has started preparations to host the World XI team. A meeting was also held between the officials of PCB to consult on the arrangements and ticketing.
Different committees including admin, HR and media were formulated during the session regarding the administrative affairs.
Najam Sethi has also arranged a ceremony for former chairman Shahryar Khan on Wednesday (today) at the Gaddafi Stadium in which officials of PCB and National Cricket Academy (NCA) will also participate. Let it be known that it was Shahryar Khan who had promised a farewell ceremony for Misbah, Afridi and Younis.
