Afridi urges media to act responsibly, boycott mudslingers
He stated that it was everyone's duty to contribute to lifting Pakistans image higher in the world
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former skipper of Pakistan Shahid Afridi has urged the media, the state and the people to act responsibly and mudslinging is getting Pakistan a bad name internationally.
Afridi gave his two cents on the current political scenario with PM Nawaz disqualified and Imran Khan accused of harassment by Ayesha Gulalai, a former PTI member from Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
He stated that it was everyone’s duty to contribute to lifting Pakistan’s image higher in the world.
Afridi said that media should not be covering mudslingers and their statements. The former skipper rhetorically asked if mudslinging was the only kind of politics.
