This Afridi-Kohli Twitter exchange transcends Pak-India animosity
SA Foundation organised a fundraiser in London
(Web Desk) – Shahid Afridi and Virat Kohli’s Twitter exchange on Tuesday will make you forget all the animosity that there is between the two neighbouring states.
Shahid Afridi Foundation organised a fundraising dinner in London which was attended by national cricketers namely Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim among others.
On the occasion, belongings of several cricketers were put up for auction and the offerings included a signed bat and a signed jersey of the Indian skipper.

Afridi took to Twitter to thank Kohli for having his items placed in the auction that helped the organisation.
Kohli wrote: “You re most welcome Shahid Bhai.. Wishing you and the @SAFoundationN all the luck for the upcoming events.”

India earlier lost to Pakistan in Champions Trophy 2017 in June after which the national players including Amir and Imad Wasim were honoured in ceremonies at the Prime Minister House and General Headquarters.
The players were rewarded with Umrah packages by the army chief and cash rewards were announced by the then premier.
