(Web Desk) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has "announced Umrah for team" as a token of appreciation for their brilliant performance against India in Champions Trophy 2017.

“Nothing beats ‘Team Work’, Pakistan is a team against every threat,” the military chief was quoted by Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Pakistan has won Champions Trophy today for the first time in tournament’s history.
Green jerseys led by Sarfraz Ahmed put a healthy One-Day International (ODI) total of 338 runs after they were put into bat first. Indian side was booked by Pakistani bowling at 158.

Air and Naval Chiefs congrats Team and the nation.
Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Zakaullah has congratulated the team on the glorious win. Spokesperson for the navy said that the chief appreciated Fakhar Zaman’s role in Pakistan winning the title. On the occasion, he mentioned that Zaman played for the navy for around seven years.
