Government staged drama in name of PSL final: Imran Khan

Imran Khan said even Sir Viv Richards was not happy with inclusion of subnormal substitutes.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said Sunday that government staged a drama on March 5 in the name of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final that was played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, reported Dunya News.

Imran Khan added that owners of some teams said their foreign players were not willing to play the final match in Lahore, and even Sir Viv Richards was not happy with inclusion of subnormal substitutes.

It is pertinent here to mention that Imran Khan earlier declared the decision of holding PSL final in Lahore insane.

Furthermore, PTI chairman also claimed that the next PSL, which is due in 2018, will be arranged under his party’s government.

“We’ll invite quality international cricketers, not Railukatay (substandard players)”, Imran said.
