PSL 2017 concluded on Sunday in Gaddafi Stadium where Zalmi clinched the title

(Web Desk) – Second installment of Pakistan Super League 2017 witnessed brilliant performances by many in fielding and batting among other requirements of the pitch.

Here is a list of  the bests  of 2017 season:

Kamran Akmal hit the most number of sixes in Pakistan Super League-II


Number of sixes: 16


Yasir Shah remained the most bankable asset with the best bowling figures of the season.


Bowling figures: 4/7

Kieron Pollard took the most number of catches.

Most number of keeping dismissals:


Kamran Akmal dismissed the most number of batsmen from behind the wickets, number of dismissals: 12


Sohail Khan took the most number of wickets and leveled Andre Russells last season total.

Number of wickets: 16


Junaid Khan conceded the most number of runs in his four overs against Islamabad United. In the previous season, Anwar Ali conceded 57 runs which is the second highest runs conceded.


Total runs conceded: 52


Lowest total made by a team:


Lahore Qalandars, the team was all-out for 59 runs against Peshawar Zalmi. The second lowest total was lso witnessed in this very season when Islamabad United were bowled out for 82 runs by Karachi Kings


Highest individual score: Kamran Akmal


Akmal put together 104 against Karachi Kings in 2nd qualifier


Highest stand of wicket; Dawid Malan and Muhammad Hafeez made the highest partnership in the first qualifier against Quetta Gladiators.


Partnership : 139 runs


Lowest T20 total defended in Pakistan:


Peshawar Zalmi defended the lowest total in T20 format for winning team in Pakistan after Lahore Stallions and Karachi Dolphins match in 2006. The total in that match was 151.

Shahid Afridi; Strike rate: 168.15


Highest total made by a team in PSL 2017:



Quetta Gladiators made 202/5 against Qalandars. Quetta secured the highest total in the last season as well with 203/8, that too against Qalandars.


Kamran Akmal is highest scoring player of all the players in PSL 2017.
