Pakistan has immense talent, says Afridi
Afridi spoke to media in Peshawar.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Taking a u-turn on his previous statement, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi on Sunday said that Pakistan has immense talent in sports.
He gave these remarks while speaking to media in Peshawar.
Earlier in July this year, Afridi claimed that there are no talented players of international standard in the country at present.
"There is no talent in Pakistan. We don’t have the kind of talent that International cricket demands", he told BBC Urdu.
Boom Boom Afridi retired from the 50-over format in 2015. He captained Pakistan in the Asia Cup and ICC T20 World Cup 2016 before stepping down.
