Shahid Afridi praises Bangladesh's 'strength'
Afridi said it would be a mistake to consider Bangladesh a weak team like before.
KARACHI (Dunya News) –Shahid Afridi praised Bangladesh cricket team’s strength and said that they are now one of the strongest teams of the world.
Shahid Afridi represented Rangpur Riders who got eliminated in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Talking to media in Dhaka, he said Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Mustafizur Rahman, Tamim Iqbal and other players have taken Bangladesh cricket to its peak.
He said it would be a mistake to consider Bangladesh a weak team like before.
It should be cleared that Bangladesh cricket team qualified for the quarter finals in 2015 cricket World Cup, and also defeated India, Pakistan and South Africa on its home grounds.
